Built for William Rafferty of Glasgow. Changed hands several times: in 1870 to George Miller of Glasgow, 1877 John Gardner of Ballachulish, 1881 Robert Lang of Dumbarton and finally to George Haxson of Newcastle in 1884.
She was lengthened in 1871 and her registered tonnage increased in 1884 (as shown in parentheses on the left)
