Built for Peter Hunter of Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae. Sold to Wm Livingstone of Westport Co Mayo in 1871 and then to Wm Curwen of Liverpool i n 1872 who had her extensively rebuilt in 1873, being lengthened to 124.8 feet x 19.2 beam and her tonnage increased to 140 gross, 88 nett.
In 1874 she was bought by Sam Claye of Barow in Furness, and then in 1878 by Henry Howie of Harrington, Northamptonshire, who apparently sold a share in her to a Mr Simpson a year later. Her last recorded owner was United Welsh Slate Company of Porthgain in 1890.
