Formerly the MV "Queensgate" owned by Hull Gates Shipping Co Ltd, until 1965 when she was sold on to Light Shipping Co of Greenock and renamed "Polarlight". In 1969 they sold her on to Rye Steamship Co of Rye, Isle of Wight, who renemed her "Rye Trader". They sold her in 1973 to Palmers of Gravesend as the "Queensford" who operated her until she was sunk while on passage between Amsterdam and Great Yarmouth on 11th June 1980 after a collision with the MV "Irenes Sun"
